Love Yourself. Be Drug Free. Red Ribbon Week Oct 23-31



Red Ribbon Week is officially celebrated from Oct 23 - 31. *Did you know that Red Ribbon Campaign is now the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation?* Read this and more information about the Red Ribbon Campaign here.

Show your support for a drug free campus by participating in the Dress Up days for the week! (October 27-Oct 31**)

* Upper/Lower Elementary

Mon - "Wake up, its Red Ribbon Week" - wear pajamas
Tues - "I 'mustache' you to be drug free" - wear a mustache
Wed - "I am a 'jean-ius, Im drug free" - wear jeans
Thurs - "We were spotted being healthy & drug free" - wear spots
Friday - "Say BOO! to drugs!" - wear your Halloween costume

* Middle School **NOTE: This Week, the Middle School is hosting a canned food drive. The Middle School will be recognizing Red Ribbon Week During the week of Nov 3-7.**

Mon (Nov 3) - Neon Day
Tues (Nov 4) - Jersey Day
Wed (Nov 5) - Crazy Hair Day
Thur (Nov 6) - 'What do you want to be?' Day
Fri    (Nov 7) - Wear Red Day

* High School 

Mon - "Keep a Lid on it" - wear your favorite hat
Tues - "We need a doctor!" - dress like a doctor or wear scrubs
Wed - "War on drugs" - wear war paint or camo
Thurs - "Team up against drugs" - favorite team shirt or jersey
Fri - "You dont scare me!" - Halloween costume (must be school appropriate, no masks, and paint cannot fully cover face)

4H/FFA: Haunted House




Mannford 4H/FFA Booster Club is sponsoring a Haunted House at the Mannford School Farm (follow the signs- The Mannford school farm is located on 31st street, the easiest way is to turn on to Farrow Dr, off of Greenwood, and Farrow ends up turning into 31st St. It also used to be called Houston Road. The Farm is approximately 1/4-1/2 mile from there.)

The Haunted House will be open from 8pm to 12am for these specific dates only:

Friday, October 17
Saturday, October 18

Friday, October 24
Saturday, October 25

Friday, October 31st

Cost is $5.00 per child and $10.00 per adult. 


Middle School STUCO Hoodie sales Oct 15-30



The Middle School Student Council will begin their hoodie sales on October 15th thru the 30th. Order forms will be going out today. You can also contact Ms. Bynum at the Middle school if you would like to order one. Her email is bynumb@mannford.k12.ok.us

PTO Movie Night, October 17th

Mannford PTO Presents:



Movie Night is this Friday, October 17th, featuring HOTEL TRANSYLVANIADoors open at 6, movie starts at 6:20, doors are locked from 6:30 to 8. Admission of $6 includes pizza, pop, and popcorn. Extra concessions will be open and available during movie time. PTO members save $1 on  your child's admission for every PTO event, including movie nights. You can sign up for PTO while you are there!! 


Parents, bring your kids and have them bring their chair, blanket, and pillow and join us for a fun night, while you go on a date or grocery shopping! Or, parents are welcome to stay and watch the movie too. We had alot of excitement from parents when we discussed movie night at Open house! Kids need to be picked up by 8:30! We cant wait to see you all!
